Is there anything better than hitting the open
road with your vehicle, the wind whistling through your open window? We don’t
think so. When you are driving with your trailer conveniently towed behind you,
though, the experience is drastically improved. Almost nothing else portrays
“freedom” more than such an idea.
However, as enticing as this image may be, there
are instances where this situation can be dangerous. One such example is not
having the appropriate wiring system in place between your vehicle and your
trailer. This is because whoever is driving behind you needs to see what you’re
doing and where you’re going, which can be blocked by your trailer. That’s
where
tow wiring comes in.
Tow wiring is used to properly connect your vehicle’s electrical wiring with that
of your trailer. In doing so, your trailer can properly show what your vehicle
is doing: stopping, turning, or simply being present in the dark. That way,
those driving behind you can see your brake lights, taillights, and turn
signals without your trailer getting in the way.
Without those properly displayed, then an
accident is far more likely to occur. You certainly do not want that!
We have an abundance of items that create a
seamless relationship between your vehicle and your trailer so you can safely
explore the open road. We have connectors and integrated circuit overload
systems, but also convenient accessories. These include items such as circuit
testers, fuse blocks, test lights, four-way trailer adapters, mini fuse bypass
switches, and much more.
Not utilizing these connector systems will make
your adventure far more dangerous. You can use these wiring systems and the
various accessories we have available for a more enjoyable and safer road
trip.
