Hopkins EASYLIFT Tailgate Easylift removes about 80% of the weight of your tailgate and allows you to open and close your tailgate with a single finger. Never worry about setting your luggage down again or getting somebody to help you close your tailgate!
  • Fits a variety of Chevy and Dodge trucks manufactured in 2007 or prior. See additional info for all compatible vehicles.
  • Approx 20 minutes of installation time.
  • Requires a power drill and a 3/8" drill bit.
  • Generally will not work with smaller trucks, including Ford Ranger, Chevy/GMC S10, S15, Colorado, Dodge Dakota, Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier.
    • Smaller truck tailgates are too light to handle the Easylift torsion bar.
  • Easylift will also often not work with step-side models of full-size trucks due to tailgate weigh
