If: When first plugging into pedestal power, caution light flashes momentarily, then goes out. High or low voltage is present at source. - Change site or use inverter or generator power… See full answer »

The 34950 Surge Protector has an LED screen and also has a higher joule rating as well. We do have a comparison guide that is ever changing with new updates and items. I will post a link to this comparison chart below so you can check out the differences between each one. Surge Guard did just release a new line of products so we are working on getting the newer parts information added to this list.

You do not need to do anything as far as the Surge Guard unit goes. If power goes out the unit will protect your RV from low/high voltage as it come back on line which many times is what occurs.

Reliable Products

Bought this unit as an upgrade from the 30AMP version. My 30AMP version saved my older RV a couple of times, expecting the same performance from this unit. If this unit performs the same, I'll be a happy camper.

We just bought our first Class A and it was recommended to get a surge protector with low voltage shut down. So we did and so far we have had no problems, working good. Thanks
