The Steele Rubber Products Standard Air Conditioner Gasket Kit is a unique, high-quality, one-piece EPDM sponge rubber gasket that fits most RV roof-mounted air conditioner and heat pump units, including Dometic, Airxcel, Advent, Atwood, and Coleman.

Additional Product Information
Installation Instructions:
- Always ensure that power is disconnected from the A/C, heat pump unit before beginning work.
- Refer to the RV and/or A/C, heat pump manual for assembly/disassembly instructions.
- Gaskets should always be replaced when installing or re-installing an RV rooftop A/C, heat pump unit.
- Tip: if the A/C, heat pump unit does not have a channel in which the gasket sits, marking along the outside edge of the existing gasket before removing it will help guide the placement of the new gasket. Completely remove any old gasket material.
- The surface on which the new gasket is being placed must be clean, dry, and free of any sharp edges or burrs.
- Carefully remove the adhesive backing on your new Steele Rubber Products gasket and adhere it to the bottom of the A/C, heat pump unit. If the unit does not have a gasket channel, use the marks made in Step 4 to help with the gasket placement. The new gasket may be bent to allow for easier installation. Press firmly in place.
- When re-assembling the A/C, heat pump unit, do NOT over-tighten screws/bolts. Refer to the RV and/or A/C/ heat pump manual for proper installation guidelines.
Note: do NOT use any kind of liquid, tube sealant, or silicone sealer - the gasket is intended to provide a compression seal on its own.
- Use the leveling pads provided to support the section of the A/C, heat pump unit that does not sit over the new gasket. Refer to your RV and or A/C, heat pump manual for precise placement of the pads.
- After the first week of use, check the A/C, heat pump unit bolts and tighten if necessary.
