What we like about this Camco RV Sewer Hose Kit and some things to consider depending on your needs and RV size.
Likes:
- The number one thing we like about this sewer hose is its ability to be shaped and stay in place. The reinforced wire allows you to position it at the perfect angle and maintains that shape throughout use.
- The 20-foot length provides excellent flexibility for various campsite layouts, especially when the sewer connection is further from your RV.
- The kit comes complete with all necessary fittings and adapters, making it ready to use right out of the box for most all full hookup campsites you may encounter.
- The 4 tab-fitting connections provide a secure and primarily leak-proof connection. We recommend using a little Vasoline on the o-ring every so often to keep it sealing properly.
- The durable construction with 23 mil heavy-duty vinyl and reinforced carbon steel wire helps prevent punctures and tears.
Things to consider:
- When fully extended, the hose can be somewhat heavy and bulky to handle, especially during setup and takedown.
- The storage space required is considerable - even when compressed, it takes up significant storage space in your RV.
- The wire reinforcement, while helpful for maintaining shape, can occasionally catch on surfaces or get kinked if not handled carefully.
