Additional Product Information
How to Use:
1. Make sure all outside water sources are disconnected.
2. Disconnect incoming fresh water suction line from your water pump.
3. Connect port C of the 3-way valve to the suction opening of the pump. Use the female to female adapter if necessary. Use Teflon tape with tapered threads.
4. The connection should be hand tight and port B should be facing up.
5. Connect the fresh water suction line to port A, turn the valve to the open position, and turn on the pump to check for leaks.
6. After making sure your connections are leak free, drain your water system for maximum freeze protection. This includes your fresh water holding tank and water heater.
7. Remove the cap from port B.
8. Connect the clear siphon hose. This connection should be hand tight as well.
9. Submerge the other end of the siphon hose into a jug of antifreeze.
10. Turn the valve to bypass.
11. Turn on the water pump and turn on all the faucets, one at a time, and allow about a cup of antifreeze to flow through each one.
12. When finished, turn off the pump, disconnect the clear siphon hose from the valve, replace the cap and turn the valve back to the open position.
