Additional Product Information
Protecting your RV with a quality cover is essential for maintaining its value and longevity. RVs are significant investments that are often exposed to harsh weather conditions, making them susceptible to damage from corrosion, mold, and UV rays. Unlike standard vehicles, RVs serve as mobile homes for many, and a cover can provide added insulation and privacy, enhancing your comfort while protecting against the elements. By investing in an RV cover, you reduce wear and tear, ensuring that your RV remains in excellent condition for years to come.
How To Measure Your RV:
Length: Measure the longest distance from the front to the rear of the RV, including bumpers, spare tires, and ladders. Measure to the front of the bumper or the bunk area, whichever is farther.
Height: Measure the highest point of the RV's sidewalls from the top of the roof to the outside frame, excluding ground clearance and roof-mounted accessories.
How to Install Your RV Cover:
1. Identify the front of the cover by locating the "Front" tag on the interior. 2. Lay the cover lengthwise on the ground, inside out, with the exterior facing up. 3. Fold the sides toward the center and roll the cover from the rear, leaving the front end loose. 4. Position the rolled cover at the rear of the RV near the ladder. 5. Loosen the roll slightly, then climb the ladder while holding the front end. 6. Pull the cover onto the roof gradually until you have a strip covering the entire roof. 7. Starting at the front, unfold the cover side to side, letting it drape down the sides as you move to the rear. 8. Ensure the corner opposite the ladder is positioned under the cover’s corner. 9. Climb down while bringing the cover down with you, then adjust the cover as needed.
Removal:
1. Undo all straps and zippers on the cover. 2. Lift the front of the cover to the top of the RV. 3. Pull the cover down from the rear.
For Cleaning:
Proper care of your RV cover is essential for maintaining its performance and water resistance. Contaminants like dirt and grease can damage the cover, so regular washing is recommended for long-lasting protection.
You can wash the cover by hand or in a washing machine. For hand washing, install the cover on your RV, rinse it with a hose, then use a cloth and multi-purpose cleaner to scrub. Rinse again and either towel dry or let it air dry.
For machine washing, use the largest machine available, set it to gentle mode, and wash with mild powder detergent in cold water—avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Rinse the cover twice to remove all detergent, and always air dry.
