Great product but doesn’t handle sleet or snow

Bought the Buena Vista 16-17’, simple set up I purchased a third support rafter in case the awning collected a snow load, I remote camp and need this type of enclosure. The temps dropped into single digits and started sleeting then turned to snow, the enclosure collapsed under the weight of the awning when attempting to put it back up both rafter support locking mechanisms broke, very cheaply made. Not sure if anything would work in this type of weather but this one didn’t. No help from mfg when I called to complain about broken support locking mechanisms they are very happy to SELL me new one for an outrageous price.
