Additional Product Information
How To Measure Your Folding Popup Camper:
Length: Measure the longest distance from the front to the rear of the camper, ensuring to include the spare tire and ladder. Be sure to exclude the hitch and tongue from your measurements!
Height: Measure the sidewalls of the camper from the highest point of the roofline down to the outer frame. Remember to exclude ground clearance, roof-mounted accessories, vents, and air conditioning units. If your trailer is equipped with an air conditioner and the height measurement (excluding the A/C unit) is within 4 inches of the maximum limit for the cover you're considering, we recommend opting for the next larger size to accommodate the air conditioner.
How to Install Your Pop-up Camper Cover:
1. Identify the Front: Most folding pop-up camper covers feature a "Front" tag on the interior, either sewn or stamped. Use this tag to clearly determine the front and rear of your cover. 2. Check Tag Placement: Ensure that all tags are located on the inside of the cover. Installing the cover upside down may lead to damage to your vehicle's paint. 3. Prepare the Cover: Fold the sides of the cover toward the center for easier handling. 4. Roll the Cover: Starting from the rear, roll the cover toward the front, leaving the loose end at the front. 5. Position the Rolled Cover: Place the rolled cover at the rear of the folding pop-up camper. 6. Unfold the Cover: Begin at the front of the camper and unfold the cover from side to side, allowing it to drape down over the sides as you move toward the rear. 7. Adjust as Needed: Walk around the camper and make any necessary adjustments to ensure the cover fits snugly from side to side.
Removal:
1. Release All Fastenings: Carefully undo all straps and zippers securing the folding pop-up camper cover. 2. Lift the Front: Raise the front of the cover to the top of the folding pop-up camper. 3. Lower from the Rear: From the rear of the camper, gently pull the cover down to remove it completely. For Cleaning:
Proper care of your RV cover is essential for maintaining its performance and water resistance. Contaminants like dirt and grease can damage the cover, so regular washing is recommended for long-lasting protection.
You can wash the cover by hand or in a washing machine. For hand washing, install the cover on your RV, rinse it with a hose, then use a cloth and multi-purpose cleaner to scrub. Rinse again and either towel dry or let it air dry.
For machine washing, use the largest machine available, set it to gentle mode, and wash with mild powder detergent in cold water—avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Rinse the cover twice to remove all detergent, and always air dry.
