When you are living in an RV or motorhome,
whether it’s for a weekend camping trip or it’s full-time, you know which parts
are the most vital. One of these important parts for any RV (and anything with
a motor, really) is the battery.
An important part of RV living is to continuously
ensure that the battery is charged and ready to provide you and your mobile
vehicle with the power you require. Without that battery or with a dead one
under the hood, you could be stranded and/or in serious trouble. That’s why
it’s so key to make sure that that unfortunate circumstance never happens.
A great way of dodging that kind of catastrophe
would be to have the right battery and battery
accessories. There are several accessories we have available that you
should consider purchasing for creating a better-prepared RV.
Battery Box Storing your battery in a battery box is an
excellent idea for several reasons. It is lightweight, but also corrosion
resistant and protects it from the elements.
Battery Monitor Don’t get caught off guard by a dying or dead
battery. Regularly monitor the battery voltage while inside your vehicle so you
know when you need to charge or change it.
Battery Switch To quickly and safely disconnect the power supply
from the battery, you can utilize the battery switch. This is a great safety
feature that should be available in every RV.
There are several other battery accessories that we have available that you should
consider, such as charging posts, master switches, battery isolators, side mount
battery bolt extenders, and many others.
When traveling in your RV or simply stationing
yourself at a campsite, stay safe and use the utmost caution with your battery!
